Participants to the meeting include Government officials, representatives of over 50 bilateral and multi-lateral sponsors.

Vietnamese and foreign non-governmental organizations and representatives from the Việt Nam Business Forum attend the annual event as observers.

The forum plays as a good platform for the Vietnamese Government to exchange ideas with its sponsors about the country’s socio-economic performance and review sponsors’ implementation of their commitments.

Earlier, the Mid-term CG Meeting was organized on June 9-10 in Rạch Giá City, southern province of Kiên Giang. Sponsors committed an ever record of over US $8 billion for Việt Nam.
