Good chance to share security concerns
VGP – Shangri-La Dialogue offers a good chance for Viet Nam to share its stance on regional and international security issues.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung made the point during his meeting with Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong well ahead of the three-day regional security summit.
The Vietnamese Government chief will deliver a keynote speech later on the same day. It will define key contents and show standpoints for settling issues relating to regional and international security challenges.
He would also introduce initiatives to encourage the international community to join and resolve disputes in accordance with regional and national interests.
Relevant countries need to respect international law and work together to build strategic confidence for peace and prosperity in Asia-Pacific region, PM Dung revealed the message of his speech.
At the meeting, PM Dung and his Singaporean counterpart stressed on the importance of maintaining ASEAN’s solidarity and high political determination.
Regarding the bilateral ties, the two PMs vowed to speed up cooperation in national defense, security, culture, education, construction, tourism among others.
Both sides also agreed to continue close coordination in Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) talks./.
