Gov’t leaders give nod to assistance packages
VGP- The PM ratified on July 04 a non-refundable portfolio “Technical assistance to business registration reform in Việt Nam” granted with around US $9 million by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in 2006-10.
The Government chief also agreed the content of an agreement on science and technology cooperation between the Socialist Republic of Việt Nam and the Federative Republic of Brazil. On the same day, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm approved Việt Nam’s engagement in 29 IAEA-funded RAS projects carried out by the Ministries of Science and Technology, Health, National Defence, Agriculture and Rural Development in the fiscal year of 2007-8. The Deputy PM also allowed the Ministry of Planning and Investment to recommend the Japanese Government to provide eight items of equipment and software (US $226,400) to the project “Application of Intellectual Property Information in Việt Nam.” By Kim Loan |
