IFAD funds project for the poor in Bắc Kạn
VGP – The PM on September 13 gave nod to the project, donated by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), on the partnership for the poor in developing agriculture and forestry in Bắc Kạn Province.
| The project aims at improving the livelihood of local people in the mountainous areas, developing sustainable agriculture and forestry, and benefiting poor households in Bắc Kạn Province. It will be implemented in Pác Nặm, Ba Bể and Na Rì, the least developed suburban districts of the Province. In addition, the Government chief also agreed in principle with the campaign and reception of a non-refundable technical assistance worth around US $654,000, funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), for the project.
