PM Dung said Viet Nam hopes to cement and deepen far-reaching cooperation with India for the common development of the two countries.

The host leader suggested the two countries strengthen economic ties, trade exchange and investment while increasing visits by all-level delegations and people-to-people exchange.

According to PM Dung, Viet Nam and India should also foster links in education, culture, science-technology, national defense and security.

For his part, Ambassador Rae said bilateral cooperation over the past time has brought practical benefits to both countries.

Indian firms, said Mr. Rae, are interested in business opportunities in Viet Nam especially in energy and finance.

He took the occasion to seek more supports of the Vietnamese Government for Indian businesses’ operations in the country and the India’s Look East policy./.
