Inferior levels asked to supply official information to media
VGP – Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has requested inferior levels to strengthen the provision of official information in the form of press releases and online debates to the mass media.

Ministries, ministerial agencies, provincial People’s Committees, over the past time, have actively provided information for the mass media or organized press briefings, contributing to fine-tuning public opinions and creating social consensus in realizing the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies.
The move was made in response to the fact that the aforesaid work has not been conducted properly or deliberately ignored in somewhere.
PM Dũng has also urged ministries and localities to organize online debates and talks at the Việt Nam Government Web Portal-the official information source of the Vietnamese Government.
Ministries and localities are also requested to designate their responsible spokesmen capable of summarizing and analyzing information, and organize monthly press briefings to provide the public with timely, accurate, transparent information.
