Innovation Partnership Program gets longer

VGP – The Government has agreed to extend deadline for the implementation of the Vietnam-Finland Innovation Partnership Program (IPP) till August 16, 2013 with the supplementary capital of €1,334,800 through a non-refundable Official Development Assistance (ODA) of the Finish Government.

The Ministry of Science and Technology will receive the additional funding and complete necessary legal procedures.

IPP is an official development assistance project sponsored by the Vietnamese and Finish governments. It is designed to help boost innovation within business, encouraging such activities as upgrading technology, improving management and developing products, services and new marketing ideas.

IPP will support small and medium sized enterprises involved in information technology, bio-technology, engineering and green energy with high priority given to projects focusing on poverty reduction.

In the first phase from August 2009-August 2012, IPP are implemented in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, An Giang and Da Lat./.
