Mountainous province gets rice relief
VGP – The PM has tasked the Ministry of Finance to put aside 1,051 tons of rice from the national reserve to support poor people in the Northwestern province of Dien Bien.
The People’s Committee of Dien Bien is responsible for timely providing the food aid to right beneficiaries.
In January this year, the Government also provided food aid to 12 other provinces namely Cao Bang, Quang Ngai, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Kon Tum, Binh Dinh, Lao Cai, Phu Yen, Thanh Hoa and Quang Nam on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival and between crop period./.
