The 11 golden winners include Nghi Sơn Cement Corporation, Việt Thắng Seafood Joint Stock Corporation, Hữu Toàn Corporation, Minh Dương Food Corporation, Robot company, Việt Vương Group, Phú Nhuận Jewelry Joint Stock Company, Civil Engineering Construction Corporation No. 4 (CIENCO 4), Thừa Thiên-Huế Water Supply and Construction Company (Huewaco), Thanh Hóa Power Construction Joint Stock Company, and Long Hậu Company.

This is the first time a national-level award granting event is organized to honor outstanding enterprises in providing good-quality products and services; sharpening their capacity and competitiveness; building business culture; and spurring production campaigns for socio-economic development.

The National Quality Award is part of the International Asia-Pacific Quality Award which was founded by the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO).

Enterprises must accumulate at least 600 points for seven different criteria in order to acquire the prize and 800 points for golden ones.
