PM Dung to attend Lee Kuan Yew’s funeral on Sunday
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung will fly to Singapore to attend the State funeral of its founding PM Lee Kuan Yew, according to the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry.
Earlier on March 23, PM Dung came to pay tribute to Mr. Lee at the Singapore Embassy in Ha Noi.
On behalf of the Vietnamese Government and people, PM Dung sent the deepest condolences to the Singaporean Government and people.
"The decease of former PM Lee Kuan Yew is the great loss not only for Singapore but also for the whole ASEAN Community.
Mr. Lee Kuan Yew’s contributions to Singapore and his initiatives on the national establishment and development are a great source of encouragement for next generations," PM Dung wrote./.
