PM meet with Lao and Cambodian leaders
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung on March 12 met with General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Choummaly Sayasone and Cambodian PM Hun Sen on the sidelines of the 6th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Viet Nam (CLMV) Summit.

The Lao General Secretary and President warmly welcomed the visit of PM Dung, saying it will help cement and strengthen the traditional friendship and special solidarity between the two countries.
He highly spoke of the outcomes and practical events held to mark the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2012.
For his part, PM Dung congratulated Laos for successfully hosting ASEM 9, ASEP 7 and regional summits like CLV, CLMV as well as ACMECS in Vientiane.
The Party, State and people of Viet Nam always stand side by side by the neighboring country to work for respective prosperity and development, said PM Dung.
He pledged that the Vietnamese Government would direct ministries, agencies and localities to work with Lao counterparts to realize the signed agreements so as to bring more practical benefits to both countries’ people.
At the meeting with PM Hun Sen, PM Dung shared pleasure with his Cambodian counterpart at developments in the friendly relations and all-faceted ties between the two countries, particularly in economics, trade, investment and tourism.
The two leaders also hailed the successful organization of the Viet Nam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2012 and the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.
They took the occasion to touch on measures to spur the bilateral linkages in the coming time./.
