The inferior levels were tasked to integrate the Strategy with other plans and projects of the socio-economic development programs in the next five years.

Since 2013, leaders of ministries, agencies and localities will be responsible for organizing online dialogue with youngsters on annual basis to update and timely solve issues related to youth. 

The objective of the Vietnamese Youth Development Strategy is to establish a generation of Vietnamese youth with comprehensive development and knowledge to meet the needs of industrialization, modernization and international integration process.  

The strategy’s targets include generating jobs for at least 600,000 young people annually, offering job consultation for 80% of young people, and reducing the unemployment rate for young people in urban areas to below 7% and in rural areas to below 6%.

By 2020, the strategy aims to provide vocational training for 70% of youngsters of working age and job guidance for all students.
