Specifically, Gia Lai province will receive 321 tons of rice, Cao Bang province 1,100 tons and Dak Lak 1,000 tons.
The People’s Committees of Gia Lai, Cao Bang and Dak Lak were asked to allocate the food aid to those in dire need.
In early May, the PM has asked the Ministry of Finance to put aside 3,455 tons of rice to four provinces including Dien Bien, Yen Bai, Cao Bang and Quang Tri for the same purpose./.
