VN, India beef up agricultural cooperation
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung hopes that Viet Nam and India will bolster agricultural linkages, especially in biological technology, post-harvest technology and hybridization.

The Government chief made the remark on October 2 in Ha Noi while receiving visting Indian Agricultural Minister Sharad Pawar.
He highly spoke of the latest talks between Vietnamese Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat and the Indian Minster.
PM Dung thanked India’s effective supports for Viet Nam during the cause of national independence and development.
The host leader said he hoped that the Indian Ministry of Agriculture will closely coordinate with the Vietnamese side to implement the signed agreements and support Viet Nam in training high-quality manpower for agriculture.
Viet Nam always welcomes and creates favorable conditions for Indian agricultural investors, he asserted.
For his part, Minister Sharad Pawar said that the time-honoured friendship and cooperation have brought about practical benefits for the two countries.
India supports the relations with Viet Nam and values the role and status of the Southeast Asian country in the region and the world at large.
The guest leader also told the PM that he and his Vietnamese counterpart agreed to enhance agricultural cooperation in food farming, breeding and aquaculture during their freshly-closed talks/.
