The host leader highly spoke of the latest talks between Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and Mr.  Sidarto Danusubroto.  

He suggested that the two countries create further ways for respective businesses to fulfill the US$ 10 billion two-way trade goal in the coming time.

Viet Nam and Indonesia said PM Dung should also promote their cooperation in science and technology, culture, education, security and defense.

PM Dung proposed that the two sides continue their close coordination at regional and international forums, especially the United Nations, while working together to make more contributions to the development of ASEAN, of which they both hold membership.

Regarding the East Sea issues, the host leader praised Indonesia's six-point initiative on the matter, proposing all involving parties implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC) in a strict manner, leading to the introduction of a Code of Conduct in the East Sea (COC) for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region.

For his part, Mr. Danusubroto hoped that the two sides would spare no effort to boost cooperation and share experience in socio-economic development.

The guest leader also agreed the East Sea issues must be settled through peaceful methods and dialogue in favor of regional stability./.
