VN, Kazakhstan eyes closer cooperation

VGP – The Việt Nam-Kazakhstan Business Forum was jointly held in Astana, Kazakhstan, on Tuesday by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries.

Speaking to 200 enterprises to the Forum, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng stated that Việt Nam and Kazakhstan have seen significant advancements in economic and trade cooperation. However, these results are not really commensurate to political ties, potentials and aspiration of the two peoples, added the Vietnamese PM.

He introduced the attendants Việt Nam’s business climate, advantages and opportunities, emphasizing that the Vietnamese Government will create most favorable conditions for investors from Kazakhstan.

For his part, the host PM Karim Masimov briefed outcomes of his talk with the Vietnamese counterpart, noting that the leaders had pledged to deepen the diplomatic and political relations through increasing delegation exchanges and consolidate mutual assistance on international forums.

The two countries committed to facilitating the entrance of their major exports, such as agro-produce and marine products from Việt Nam to Kazakhstan and metals and fertilizers circulated in the opposite direction.
