VN, Serbia look towards economic agreements

VGP – Receiving the visiting Serbian FM Ivan Mrkic on February 28, PM Nguyen Tan Dung suggested that the two countries should quicken the signing of agreements on investment encouragement and economic cooperation.

Highly valuing the guest’s visit to Viet Nam in early Lunar New Year, PM Dung asserted that the event would made practical contributions to stronger bilateral cooperation between Viet Nam and Serbia in all fields.

Viet Nam will do her utmost to boost her cooperation with Serbia, especially in economy, trade, investment, said the Government chief, urging the two countries to sign the Investment Encouragement and Protection Agreement and the Economic Cooperation Agreement.

For his part, FM Ivan Mrkic affirmed that Serbia always places importance on cooperation with Viet Nam and expects greater supports from the Southeast Asian country on regional and international forums.

He added that Serbia is ready to sign the agreements as suggested by PM Dung and proposed that the two countries could also reach an agreement on education cooperation.
