PM Dũng warmly welcomed the FMs from the ASEAN member states to partake in the important event of the bloc in general and Việt Nam, Chair of ASEAN in 2010, in particular.
The Vietnamese Government chief expressed his gratitude to the guests for their close and effective coordination with Việt Nam for the successful organization of the 16th ASEAN Summit in April.
PM Dũng also revealed that as the Chair of ASEAN for the year of 2010, Việt Nam took part in the G20 Summit in Canada to highlight ASEAN’s stances which were hailed by the international community.
Việt Nam pledges to do her utmost to put into reality the theme “Towards an ASEAN Community: From Vision to Action” which was adopted by ASEAN leaders.
Việt Nam hopes to seeks further support, firstly from the FMs, to fruitfully build the ASEAN Community, said Mr. Dũng./.
