VN wants to host IMF/WB annual meetings

VGP – The Government on Monday gave the nod to the State Bank of Việt Nam’s proposal of hosting the International Monetary Fund/World Bank Annual Meetings in 2015.

The central bank was urged to inform Việt Nam’s intention to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

The Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (Fund) and the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group (Bank) meet once a year to discuss the work of their respective institutions.
