Italian-sponsored projects adjusted
VGP – The PM has approved the adjustments to Italian-sponsored projects involving water and sanitation in the provinces of Quang Nam, Binh Thuan and Ca Mau, which are financed through the Official Development Assistance (ODA).
Housing-support policy for poor households issued
VGP – The PM has issued a housing-support policy for poor households (based on Decision No. 167/2008/QĐ-TTg dated August 12th, 2008 on housing loan support) to help 311,000 poor households in rural areas.
New Construction Deputy Minister appointed
VGP – The PM has appointed Mr. Do Duc Duy, Chief of the administrative office of the Ministry of Construction as Deputy Minister of Construction.
Secretariat on regional tourism to be established
VGP - The Government has agreed to a draft agreement on establishing a regional secretariat to implement the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism (MRA).

VGP – The Government has issued a Resolution which covers measures to accelerate the implementation of the newly-amended Law on Enterprises and Law on Investment.

VGP – Bold measures for flood control, faster restructuring of weak commercial banks, drafting of economic restructuring planning in 2016-2020, and university entrance exams for the academic year of 2015 topped the agenda of the Government’s regular meeting in July.

VGP – An international conference on prevention of disease spreading from animals to humans will take place in Ha Noi this month.
Regulations on entry luggage exempted from tariffs
VGP - The PM has signed a Decision regulating the quota of luggage and movable assets, presents and specimens to be exempted from tariffs.
Children have voice in decision-making
VGP – The PM has passed a program on promoting children’s participation in children’s affairs in the 2016-2020 period.
Financial management regulations of Bank for Social Policies amended
VGP - The PM has signed Decision No.30/2015/QD-TTg to amend and supplement several regulations on financial management of the Bank for Social Policies (BSP), which were issued together with Decision No.180/2002/QD-TTg dated December 19, 2002.
