The VND 9,760-billion project has the length of 55km, running through Districts 2 and 9 (HCMC) and Long Thành, Nhơn Trạch and Thống Nhất Districts (Đồng Nai).

The construction of the highway will help to facilitate commercial activities and transportation in three southern economic hubs, namely HCMC, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu and Đồng Nai.
