The Governor of State Bank of Việt Nam was entrusted to sign the agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The Municipal People’s Committee of Hà Nội will be responsible for directing related parties to deploy the project on schedule and secure investment efficiency.

Earlier in January, 2011, Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng gave the nod to the establishment of a delegation responsible for negotiating with the ADB for the agreement.

The Nhổn-Hà Nội Station Section is part of a pilot metro line which began on September 25, 2010. This is the city’s biggest public transport project so far

The line has a length of 12.2 km, including 8.5 km elevated and 4km underground. There will be 12 surface and underground depots along the route..

The line, will goes through five inner districts of Từ Liêm, Cầu Giấy, Ba Đình, Đống Đa, and Hoàn Kiếm once put into service by 2015.
