Technology renovation fund to be established
VGP – Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has signed a decision on the establishment of the National Fund for technology renovation under the direct management of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The Fund is a State financial and non-profitable entity which will provide preferential loans, interest rate assistance, credit guarantee to organizations, individuals and businesses engaging in technological research, transfer, renovation and completion.
With charter capital of VND 1 trillion, the Fund will be financed annually by the State.
The Minister of Science and Technology was assigned to develop organizational and operational rules to submit it to the Prime Minister for approval.
