Vĩnh Hy Bay in Ninh Thuận province

This is part of the Ninh Thuận’s socio-economic development master plan to 2020 which has been recently approved by the Prime Minister. 

Under the master plan, the locality will strive for growth rates of 16-18% in the 2011-2015 period and 19-20% in the 2016-2020 period.

The six major sectors, namely energy, tourism, agro-forestry and fishery, processing, education and training and construction, real estate business will make up 91% of the local GDP and generate jobs for 85% of the province’s population by 2020.

Ninh Thuận will especially focus on nuclear power and renewable energy to become a clean energy hub in the country.

In addition, the locality will develop comprehensive tourism on marine, ecology, culture and establish a tourism site with competitive products, diversified and good tourism services in Southeast Asia./.
