The Festival is scheduled to take place from April 27-29, 2012, according to the People’s Committee of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu.

The Festival aims to implement the Government’s policy on Việt Nam’s maritime economic development strategy and contribute to raise awareness among people.

The Festival will cover several activities such as a carnival themed "For peace in the Southeast Asia Sea"; Amateur Golf tournament in support for the Fund "For the Trường Sa (Spratly islands) a of loved"; an exhibition of seaports, shipping companies, international and Việt Nam logistics; an exhibition on Vietnamese potentials and island sovereignty; an international conference forum on investment development, construction, management and administration of seaports; a performance named "garden of light" with high-tech equipment./.
