Climate change projects gets budget for 2015
VGP – The PM has agreed to allocate VND 3 trillion of ODA through the Support Program to Respond to Climate Change in Viet Nam (SP-RCC) to implement projects in response to climate change in 2015.

The package of credit will support 16 projects involving coastal and protective afforestation and sea dyke reinforcement.
The PM assigned the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to work with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and relevant agencies and localities toreview scale and investment levels for these projects.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment works with the Ministry of Finance to ratify the portfolio and amount of capital before September 30, 2014 to submit to the National Assembly to decide.
Relevant localities were tasked to ratify the projects in accordance with the regulations on investment./.
