The modernized vessels must ensure the efficiency of patrol, inspection, smuggling prevention activities, contributing to guaranteeing economic security, safety and national water sovereignty.
The new vessel fleet must also be capable of coordinating with other forces or assisting them in the activities, the Government chief requested.
The new vessels, including patrol ones should be locally built.
This project will be implemented until 2020.
