The first non-refundable project worth US$85,000 targets to increase community veterinary capacity to support the Food Safety Law and improve control, reduce human infectious risks from plants and animals (second phase).

The second non-refundable project valued US$1.7 million aims to provide technical assistance for improving response to highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in Viet Nam.

The project to build rice varieties in Hoa Tien commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City will be given a non-refundable aid of US$52,528.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development works with the FAO Office in Viet Nam and relevant agencies to sign and implement the projects.

On the same day, the PM also approved a project on employment, stabilization and restructuring policies towards effective growth model for Viet Nam, funded by the International Labor Organization (ILO).

Total fund for this project is US$566,913./.
