The PM has also agreed to extend the implementation duration of the project, which was funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development, to December 31.

Under the project, local residents are able to choose seedlings, animals for breeding and agricultural materials by themselves, while enjoying technical assistance provided by experts. Those project beneficiaries who have escaped from poverty will hand over capital to other poor people.

The project has 4 components: food security and rural livelihood, hamlet-level infrastructure construction, community empowerment and project management capacity enhancement.
