Goverment releases June resolution

VGP – The Government has decided to spare no effort to safeguard national sovereignty, ensure political security, maintain social order, support offshore fishing, pursue the SOEs restructuring and develop IT.

 
This is part of the Government’s June resolution  issued on July 8 following its monthly meeting held earlier.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was assigned to work with competent agencies to consistently protect  national sovereignty via political and diplomatic measures; proactively provide information about the East Sea situation and gain supports from the international community for the just stance and goodwill of Viet Nam on the East Sea-related issues.

The Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) are in charge of directing the Fisheries Surveillance Force and the Coast Guard to deploy field measures to safeguad sovereign rights, sovereignty and jurisdiction of Viet Nam in its exclusive economic zone and continental shelf in accordance with the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

The Ministry of Public Security works with the armed forces to promptly respond to actions which destabilize security and social orders especially in big cities, industrial parks, and export processing zones.

The Government chief had asked ministries, agencies and localities to review, amend, and perfect mechanisms,policies, and administrative reform to provide favourable business and production environment, accelerate the restructuring of SOEs, public investment, credit organizations.

The PM also requested the Ministry of Health, the MARD, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to prevent illegal cross-border import of pesticides./.
