Gov’t has two new Deputy PMs
VGP – With 88.96% of vote, the National Assembly on Tuesday approved a resolution on the increase in the number of Deputy PMs to five at its 13th tenure.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung then read a statement before the law-makers to seek their approval of Minister-Chairman of the Office of the Government Vu Duc Dam and FM Pham Binh Minh as two new Deputy PMs.
Mr. Dam was proposed to be in charge of supporting the PM in cultural, social, scientific, educational and training affairs.
Meanwhile, Mr. Minh will directly be responsible for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier, the NA approved the removal of Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan from his duties as Deputy PM following his assumption of the new post as the new President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front../.
