Gov’t increases study-purposed loan value
VGP – Learning-purposed loans will be increased to VND 1 million from the current level of VND 900,000 from August 1, 2011, according to PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng’s recent decision.

Over 2 million students of nearly 1.8 million households nationwide have benefited from the Government’s learning-purposed financial assistance program

The Government chief has assigned the Ministry of Finance to coordinate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and relevant agencies to provide secure fund to meet adjustments.
More than 2 million students of poor households nationwide have benefited from the Government’s learning-purposed financial assistance program since it was launched three years ago.
The program indicates the Government’s strong effort to ensure educational opportunities for all, particularly the poor.
