Gov’t provides free rice to two central provinces
VGP - The Government on Monday asked the Ministry of Finance to provide 2,550 tons of rice in aid for poor people in the central provinces of Quảng Bình and Quảng Trị .
Of the figure, 1,300 tons will be allocated for Quảng Trị and the rest for Quảng Bình.
Earlier, in January and February this year, the Government also allocated over 26,392 tons of rice to support poor people in 15 localities, namely: Yên Bái, Lai Châu, Kon Tum, Bình Định, Thanh Hóa, Quảng Nam, Phú Yên, Đắk Lắk, Cao Bằng, Nghệ An, Quảng Ngãi, Lào Cai, Hà Tĩnh, Lạng Sơn and Điện Biên.
