Korean loan agreement approved
VGP - The PM has approved the agreement on accessing loans from the Republic of Korea’s Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) to fund a solar energy project in Quảng Bình Province and the drainage and wastewater treatment project in Long Xuyên City, An Giang Province.
The energy project, scheduled to become operational in 2013, will build solar power stations with capacity of 1,015 KWP to provide electricity to 1,514 households in the 4 districts of Lệ Thủy, Quảng Ninh, Bố Trạch and Minh Hóa.
The project will also provide 10 remote communes with solar power.
