PM Dũng urged the two sides to maintain and increase exchanges of visits at all levels and simplify immigration procedures for Vietnamese students to learn and work in Japan.

Việt Nam also expects to expand cooperation with Japan in the fields of cultural exchanges and human resource training, he said.

The two countries decided to choose the 2013 as the Việt Nam-Japan Friendship Year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
