The project will be implemented in three years (from July 2015 to June 2018) in six northern mountainous provinces, namely Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La and Hoa Binh, with a budget of US$ 110 million, of which US$ 100 million comes from the World Bank’s loan.

The project targets to uphold the outcomes of the project in the previous phases and improve the living standards for beneficiaries by improving their access to infrastructure in favor of production; empowering institutional capabilities of grass-root levels and community-based production;drafting socio-economic development plans at communal levels; strengthening market connectivity and business innovations./.
