Accordingly, the draft document will be submitted to the Government in Q2/2012.

The Government chief asked the Ministry of Planning and Investment and relevant agencies to finalize necessary circulars on detailed implementation of the new Decree to make sure that the Decree will promptly be enacted after taking effect.

The new Decree will replace the Government’s Decree No. 131/2006/NĐ-CP dated November 9, 2006.

The Decree No. 131/2006/NĐ-CP said ODA is used for projects in the fields of agriculture and rural development in combination with poverty reduction, development of synchronous and modern economic infrastructure, environmental protection and preservation of natural resources, improvement of institutional capacity and human resource development among others.
