PM Dũng welcomes New Zealand’s new Ambassadress

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on Wednesday received New Zealand’s newly-appointed Ambassadress to Việt Nam Heather Mhairi Riddle in Hà Nội.

Both PM Dũng and Ambassadress Heather Mhairi Riddle expressed their pleasure at the fine development of the bilateral ties during the past years.

Leaders of the two countries had agreed to lift the relationship to a comprehensive partnership level, continued PM Dũng, asking Mrs. Heather Mhairi Riddle to outline specific action plans, particularly in the fields of economics, trade, politics, culture, science and technology based on the scope of cooperation.

The Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for the Ambassadress to fulfill her tasks in Việt Nam, the Government chief confirmed.

Mrs. Heather Mhairi Riddle pledged to spare no effort to heighten the bilateral ties and said that at first, she will focus on some education, science and technology projects, and economic promotion activities between the two sides’ business communities.
