Both countries have ceaselessly consolidated the bilateral ties on the basis of traditional friendship, sincerity, special trust, and mutual support, noted the Vietnamese Government chief.

PM Dung affirmed Viet Nam’s consistent policy of exerting itself to further expand the relations with Russia.

Ambassador Andrei Kovtun said he has a strong attachment and special affection for the country and people of Viet Nam during 28 years working in the Southeast Asian nation.

The Russian diplomat also stressed that Russia always attaches importance to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership with Viet Nam in all realms.

He suggested that both sides should beef up contacts at all levels, business and people-to-people exchanges, work together to early conclude the free trade agreement talks between Viet Nam and the Custom Unions of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan and fruitfully realize joint oil and gas and atomic energy projects./.
