It honoured intellectual and creativeness of people and reflected the attention of the Party, State and Government leaders on science, technology, and people’s creativeness in national construction and development cause.

The 63 participating inventors have contributed to  society many valuable products.

Addressing the meeting, PM Dung stressed the nation’s tradition of diligence and creativeness and the priority of the Party and State in developing scientific and technological applications, particularly promoting creativeness of people in national defence and construction.

The Party and State have focused on fostering education and training, improving people’s knowledge and developing human resources to lay fundamental foundations for creativeness and scientific-technological studies while encouraging and creating favorable conditions to promote people’s creativeness in all fields, PM Dung said.

He affirmed that the country’s achievements are thanked to people’s intellectual and creativeness, saying that creativeness and scientific-technological application continue to play an important role in improving competitiveness, productivity and effectiveness of the economy when Viet Nam is implementing industrialization, modernization and international integration.

The Government leader asked the MST and relevant ministries and localities to develop appropriate policies to encourage and facilitate scientific-technological studies and applications in production, promoting creativeness of all individuals.

He expressed his hope that inventors and scientists would promote their achievements and have more initiatives and inventions to serve the national construction.
