PM receives foreign guests
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung on August 28 separately met with the World Bank's Country Director for Viet Nam Victoria Kwakwa and outgoing Ambassador of Brunei Dato Mahadi Wasli.

PM Dung thanked the WB’s support for Viet Nam, saying the Vietnamese Government always regards the institution a reliable partner during the development path in terms of both resource and policy consultancy.
The PM praised the contributions of Ms. Victoria Kwakwa to positively persuading donors to maintain preferential credit for Viet Nam, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development, poverty reduction and socio-economic development.
The Vietnamese ministries and sectors are focusing on institutional reform and mobilization of corresponding capital to speed up WB-sponsored projects.
For her part, the WB Country Director emphasized that the two sides have worked effectively over the past time. She suggested Vietnamese ministries and agencies cooperate with the WB in Viet Nam to fruitfully disburse the sponsor credits.
The same day, PM Dung bid farewell to Ambassador of Brunei Dato Mahadi Wasli who has finished his office term in Viet Nam.
PM Dung said he hoped the outgoing Ambassador would continue to contribute to the bilateral ties.
Ambassador Dato Mahadi Wasli said he believed in the fine ties between the two countries, especially in the field of oil and gas./.
