PM receives new Belgian Ambassador

PM Dung said that he was pleased to witness the positive developments in the bilateral ties and pointed out that there are wide doors for both countries to tap their potential, especially in the areas of economics, trade, investment, science-technology, education and training.

He said he hoped the two countries continue backing each other at international and regional forums.

The host leader also suggested Belgium continue to provide ODA for Viet Nam in such activities as  climate change response and dealing with sea level rise and support Viet Nam in the negotiations for Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the EU.

The Vietnamese Government will create all possible conditions for the new Ambassador to fulfill his mission in Viet Nam.

For his part, Ambassador Bruno Angelet said that he was impressed of the great achievements Viet Nam has attained in socio-economic development, poverty reduction and international integration.

The Ambassador pledged to spare no effort to serve as a friendly bridge for  the bilateral ties to grow higher, especially in the fields of economics, trade and investment./.
