PM receives outgoing Swedish Ambassador

VGP – Việt Nam hopes to shake hands with Sweden in revitalizing the bilateral ties in all fields for mutual practical benefits, said PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng.

The Vietnamese PM made the statement during his meeting with outgoing Swedish Ambassador Rolf Bergman this evening.

PM Dũng lauded the substantial contributions of the Ambassador to the fine traditional ties and multifaceted cooperation between Việt Nam and Sweden.

The host leader took this occasion to thank the Government and people of Sweden for supporting Việt Nam in the cause of national salvation, reconstruction and development. Especially, the valuable sources of ODA, donated by Sweden, have effectively served for poverty reduction and socio-economic development Việt Nam, said Mr. Dũng.

For his part, Ambassador Rolf Bergman held that there remain huge potentials for the bilateral cooperation, especially in the domains of economics, trade and investment.

More and more Swedish tourists have visited the beautiful country of Việt Nam, said the diplomat while pledging to do best for the blooming ties between the two sides./.
