PM requires breakthroughs in anti-corruption in 2010
VGP – The Central Steering Committee for Anti-corruption today convened its 12th meeting to review its performance in 2009 and map out the follow-up missions.

PM Dũng underlined the need of focusing on perfecting State management regimes, mechanisms and policies in such “sensitive” fields like land management and use, customs, budget collection and spending, and construction investment. “The requirement is that, in 2010, we must create breakthroughs [in the anti-corruption work] and minimize corruption in those fields,” stressed the Government chief. Accordingly, a nationwide conference will be held to evaluate outcomes of the anti-corruption work. It will also urge and supervise ministries and local authorities to prevent corrupt acts which can mushroom during the upcoming Lunar New Year festival. By Xuân Hoàng |
