PM urges development plans for HCMC

VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on July 12 delivered his opinions to direct the development of Hồ Chí Minh City.

The PM entrusted the Ministry of Finance and relevant ministries and agencies to instruct the biggest city to set up the plan "Financial market development "; collaborate with the city authority in improving the operation of the Hồ Chí Minh City Securities Center; cooperate with the State Bank of Việt Nam and relevant ministries in promoting the management over the securities centers in the city and throughout the country to ensure their sustainable performance.

The PM also required the Ministry of Transport, Hồ Chí Minh City People's Committee and relevant agencies to accelerate the investment projects on some highways (Hồ Chí Minh City-Long Thành-Dầu Giây; Hồ Chí Minh City-Trung Lương); Bình Triệu-Hòa Hưng-Tiên Kiên railway; Bridge Đồng Nai 2; the city metro; and Tân Sơn Nhất airport.

The Government leader agreed to the city's plans to build up an entertainment and amusement complex in Bình Quới-Thanh Đa (Bình Thạnh District), with some hotels, restaurants, and water amusement quarters.
