Power Plant Cà Mau 1

For the Dung Quất Oil Refinery, the realization of bidding packages 1+4 and 2+3 must be prioritized. Accordingly, the Investor was required to collaborate with the consultants in asking General Contractor (Technip) to take all necessary measures in order to observe the schedule proposed by the expert team of the State Steering Board for major oil and gas projects in Document 07/BC-TCV (date June 13, 2007), as well as promptly make detailed plans on construction and installation in 2007.
Given to the bidding package 5B, the Project Management Unit must complete the total estimate and submit it to the competent agency prior to June 30, 2007. The Unit should also cooperate with contractors in designing detailed plans on construction and installation and reporting to the Steering Board before June 28, 2007. Contractors Cienco 1 and PTSC were asked to complete all procedures with foreign contractors to speed up the drilling and concrete work on schedule.
The PM ordered contractor COMA to finish the purchase of equipment to accelerate the construction of the bidding package 7, so ensuring the trial operation of the refinery.
For the Cà Mau Gas-Electricity-Fertilizer Project, the PM requested the investor and contractor Vietsovpetro to check and supervise the production and transport of main thermo-equipment to the construction site. Contractor Lilama should hasten the installation of mixture cycle of the Power Plant Cà Mau 1 and ensure the schedule of Plant Cà Mau 2. The Project Management Unit should urge the contractors to speed up the construction of the road from Cà Mau City to the Project.
For the Nghi Sơn Petrochemistry Complex, the PM assigned PetroVietnam to seek for investors and collaborate with the Nghi Sơn Economic Board in observing the PM's Document 936/TTg-DK (dated June 9, 2006) on conducting in advance some items, such as identifying the project's boundaries on the spot; enumerating properties and crops for compensation and site clearance; making the report on feasible research for workers' housing, preparing bidding invitation records, selecting the units in charge of mine clearing, and reporting to the PM within July 2007.
