The Government chief allowed investors of the Nội Bài Terminal T2 to borrow 50% of the capital from the Việt Nam Development Bank and 50% from other commercial banks.
In necessary cases, the Government will guarantee the loans from commercial banks.
The Ministry of Transport was assigned to instruct investors to design mechanisms to manage, exploit and provide aviation and non-aviation services at Terminal T2, so as to recover their investment capital.
Mentioning the Long Thành International Airport, the PM asked the founder-shareholders to contribute 70% of the charter capital in order hold the dominant role. Foreign strategic and ordinary shareholders are permitted to account for the remaining 30%.
Terminal T2 at the Nội Bài Airport is a 4-storey building with the total floor area of 90,000 m2. This project requires around JP¥ 31 billion. It will be inaugurated in October 2010.
The Long Thành International Airport covers 5,000 ha in Long Thành District of Đồng Nai Province. The US $8-billion project is expected to serve international aviation integration.
