The Government chief made the statement at a working session with VLA’s leaders in Hanoi on July 16.

He expressed his hope that VLA would continue coordinating closely with ministries, agencies and localities to contribute more to law building and popularization, administrative reform, protection of people’s legitimate interests and the national sovereignty.

PM Dung also asked VLA to beef up international cooperation activities.

At present, VLA comprises 46,000 members with 63 provincial lawyers’ associations, and hundreds of associations at grass-root levels.
