Vice President, PM Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by high-ranking officials came to receive PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and his entourage.

Also on the first day to the UAE, PM Dũng came to visit Vietnamese Embassy to the UAE.

The Government chief appreciated efforts made by the Embassy's staff, which has significantly contributed to the development of comprehensive cooperation between Việt Nam and the UAE.

PM Dũng extolled their preparation for his visit which, as he said, will mark a new page of the development of bilateral ties, particularly in the fields of investment, labor and trade cooperation.

The UAE's investment blossomed in the provinces of Phú Yên, Quảng Ninh, Ninh Thuận and others. However, the two-way trade value of US $500 million is still far from the two countries' potentialities, said PM Dũng.

PM Dũng asked the Embassy to promote cooperation activities so as to send around 15,000 guest workers to the UAE after the two countries signed a labor agreement.

PM Dũng and the delegation also had meetings with representatives of the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) and Tamouh Investments.
