The PM authorized leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) to sign Appendix 1 of the Finance Agreement between the Vietnamese Government and the EU on the extension.

The MCST was tasked to implement the program on schedule effectively as committed with the donor.

The program aims to bring tourism principles into Viet Nam’s tourism sector to improve competitiveness and contribute to realizing socio-economic development plans.

The program will support a tourism consulting council and agencies; strengthen and expand community-based training activities; help manage destinations in prioritized regions; and train teachers and managers for five selected educational institutions.
